Am I the only one that saw this story about the perigee moon and thought of this song?
Those little kids voices are even cuter than I remember…
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky!
Too cute. You know what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
Awwww! So nostalgic! I love that movie! :)
Awwww!!! Abigail and I watched it and all the lyrics came back to me! I used to play it on the piano and sing my heart out as a kid! :) Thanks!
Hey! I loved this movie growing up!! In respond to the comment you left me… I didn’t see the sock you posted, were can I find it?? This is the first sock I’ve knitted! I took a class that was once a week for three weeks and the instructor taught us a little each night and gave us home work too. I’m a third of the way done with the match…hoping I can remember all the steps!!
Thanks for the nice complement :)
LOVE that movie and that song. Such an American classic. When my husband moved to Boston and I had to stay behind in D.C. he used to end his emails / letters to me with “There are no cats in Boston.” Because I’m allergic to cats. :)
And that song has always made me think of my crazy family (like yours) that’s spread out all over the place.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. :)
